Default Not working configs

I think Eskil will benefit if people post their system specs here if they are having problems running the client. If your system is working, post here instead.

I've seen it work and not work on my system all due to graphic drivers. But I guess I'll post in both sections?

P4 2.4 ghz
1 GB PC 2100 Ram
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (2004 drivers would not boot the program up at all. 7/21/2009 Drivers makes the program boot but everything is super bright so the menu cannot be seen as well. )
Windows XP PRO SP2

NOTE: Game runs fine and smooth with 2006 drivers.

I'm posting in both sections, since it does render on my machine at an almost acceptable framerate, however it consumes both cores in doing so.

Windows Vista Ultimate
Intel Core2 Duo T7500 @ 2.2Ghz
2046Mb RAM
NVidia GeForce 8400M

When I attempt to start the client, it simply flickers on for a fraction of a second and instantly closes. I am not sure what is causing this.

Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Core2 Duo P8600 @ 2.4 Ghz
4.00 Gb RAM
Nvidia GeForce GT 120M

It does render the world, and fps is around 15 according to fraps, but the picture is weird, nothing gets lighter during the day except the sky and the blue ground/water.

Default white planet

specs;
Radeon 9600 -latest driver.
Intel Pentium 4 CPU, 3GHz
Windows XP home

Issue: Framerate is sometimes good sometimes rather not, but the planet gets whited out. Starts the same colour as the sky, then Transitions to white drag accross the landscape in thick expanding streaks till it's filled. It stays that way. happens as the sun rises[though I can't tell if there's actually a single sun, it's more of a giant glow]. Sky is very pretty although at times in the day it's pretty much just white too.

Default Gettin' the ole White'n'Streaky

Runs relatively well, but I only get to see the world for a few seconds then the sun seems to blot it all out to white, then the sky goes completely white until night time. Then, I can see the sky, but the world is still whited out. Specs:

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_qfe.090206-1239)
System Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
System Model: MP061
BIOS: Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1.10 A08
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU
T7200 @ 2.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 2046MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

Card name: ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400
Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
Chip type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x7145)
DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
Display Memory: 256.0 MB
Current Mode: 1440 x 900 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Driver Name: ati2dvag.dll
Driver Version: 6.14.0010.6891 (English)
DDI Version: 9 (or higher)
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
Driver Date/Size: 12/1/2008 14:51:31, 318464 bytes

Just copied what I thought was relevant from the DXDiag text file.

Also, only about 50% CPU usage and about 18k mem usage, pretty subtle.

I had the same problem - if you're an NVIDIA user and get a message about OpenGL not being supported, you have EXTENSION LIMIT turned ON in your NVIDIA control panel. Go to NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings and turn "EXTENSION LIMIT" to "OFF".

Client starts for a split second, then quits. No window is displayed and screen does not go black, although mouse pointer changes to a black one briefly before returning to the normal white one.

Specs:

nvidia 6600GT (latest beta drivers (191) and latest directx (5.03.2600.5512))
Pentium 4 3ghz
1.5GB RAM
