Is this game worth the $5? I have heard that it's really a good game. It looks interesting but I'm just not sure yet. Is there a good tutorial to learn the game if you join? Because I also heard it's very new person unfriendly. Thanks for any answers.

Worth 5 dollars? Well that's entirely up to you, no one can decide for you. Keep in mind that 5 dollars isn't that much to loose if it turns out the game isn't for you, so it is a pretty small risk to take to play a game that is entirely unique. As for your other question - there is no tutorial at all, you'll learn to play from other players.

Can you tell what a person who enjoys this game might like to find in a game?

Different people play love for very different reasons. What you end up doing in love is probably completely different from the sort of stuff I enjoy. That said, some types of gamers who are well served by love are: -People who like exploring and searching for loot -People who like being the engineer in team fortress -People who spent more time building houses than playing when they first got the sims -People who get a kick out of seeing something they made be used by other players -People who are sick of first person games always doing the same thing -People who like working on things in a big group -People who are prepared to try something that isn't super obvious in exchange for greater depth

I think I'm going to love love. I always build a gigantic house in the sims and spend a few hours on it, then I play the game in the house for 30 minutes and get bored. I then build another house. |

I do the exact same thing... By the way, I would suggest Love. Even tho its an Alpha... its totally worth it imo. Its entertained me for about 20 hours now... Which is more then I can say for some other games... *Cough* Mirror's Edge *Cough*

I dislike anything to do with grinding or any repetitive game play just to get to some high level. I love creating things and I love when games offer a different experience each time you play them.

Just remember that ultimately Love is still in Alpha. Eskil isn't trying to get you to buy his game, he's allowing you to help him test it out in exchange for the server running costs. As an interesting side effect, it has meant that people in game are those that are interested enough in the project to be willing to donate $5, which means that the community at the moment is pretty friendly. |
