I didn't want to post this until I knew the settlement was going to last. It's at least been up for 24 hours now, so I suppose it's safe to post it. The name of our settlement is the Waygate Tree. This is because of the large amount of teleporters we set up, and because there is a tree at the very top on an arch. Few things about the Settlement: Low walls, and we have 3 open doorways to our base. Turret is facing towards our entire settlement. All the teleporters lead to AI settlements / tokens. If the AI ever digs from underneath / gets in another way and destroys a few tokens, we can get them back in a matter of seconds by using the teleporters. (there is a line of about 6 teleporters on the left, and 2 in the back.) ![]() The tokens placed in the settlement are dug into holes in the ground. This is so the turret and the players have a clear view of the settlement. I call these "token farms". ![]() We are protected by lines of explosives on our front, and explosives on the bridges in the rear. The base is still going as of 8pm lets hope its going through the night also we seem to have 2 turrets, don't know if you are supposed to because they fired on one of us once |

Base looks great now, it's flatter / all one color. But ... apparently people who were on ventrilo together took down the teleporters, which was a TERRIBLE move. The base may be safe now, but if we start losing tokens it'll take a lot longer for us to rebuild, rather than just hopping through a teleporter, grabbing a token, then respawning. They should've at leaste moved them to a new spot if they had a problem =(. I wish I could've put a sign in front of them explaining their importance. They're literally the reason the base is alive now, because we kept it alive as it was being destroyed by AI (before the defenses got re-buffed). |

this settlement died to a server reset, i suppose it was the best way for it to go. it lasted the longest of all the settlements, and was the strongest, awesomest, and best organized settlement ever made. We had the iconic tree ![]() We had a teleporter array that led to every part of the world, that was ontop of this epic lookout with a passageway (it was cool, trust me) ![]() then there was the cave i has just built, best cave ever made! ![]() |
