The flatten token is a world editing tool that is used to make the ground even. This is an excellent tool for making good looking bases with flat ground and walls. Because the flatten tool only creates the minimum of geometry, it can be used to create floating platforms around the base, or to create a ceiling above a base, though the latter is not advisable.
